Both shows take place in California. A soundtrack was distributed by Sony BMG and toys were sold in stores and given away in McDonald's Happy Meal.
Episodes
Drivers navigate a pitch-black underground cave network filled with sudden drops, falling stalactites, and giant bats. As Shirako's heavy bass causes vibrations in the cave, the Racing Drones launch aggressive attacks in total darkness. The realm forces drivers to master driving in low-visibility conditions without crashing into subterranean obstacles.

Racers speed across tracks suspended above rivers of molten magma, dodging erupting geysers and falling fiery boulders. Intense ambient heat rapidly wears down tire grip and threatens to overheat engines, requiring precise control over tire dexterity and line choice. In a dramatic reversal of their World Race history, Vert steps in to save Taro from a deadly plunge into the lava.

Set high above a canyon abyss, this realm tests drivers with hairpin turns, falling rockslides, and flying creatures along narrow cliff edges. Master drifting and tight cornering are essential to maintain speed through steep drops and sharp bends without plunging into the chasm. Kurt is forced to push Shirako off the track to trigger his EDR emergency recall before a drone sabotage causes a catastrophic explosion.

Competitors race across slick, frozen glaciers featuring cracking ice shelves, zero-visibility blizzards, and treacherous low-friction tracks. Drivers must maintain high speeds while managing delicate throttle control to prevent skidding off collapsing icy precipices. Taro and Karma endure slippery terrain and psychological stress as they navigate the frozen hazards alongside invading drones.

Set among massive stone monoliths, crumbling ancient structures, and stone guardians, this realm presents a labyrinth of ancient traps. Drivers must navigate maze-like stone pathways while dodging falling debris and aggressive drone maneuvers. Success relies on quick reflexes and path-finding intuition to survive the collapsing ancient architecture.

The Cosmic Realm takes place high above the atmosphere on a track suspended in deep space, featuring low gravity, zero-g corkscrews, floating track segments, and hazardous meteor showers. Drivers are forced to master precise aerodynamic downforce management to prevent their vehicles from drifting off the track into the infinite void.
