The Mac Kids

When Jordan, Vanessa, and Bryana realize they're on their own without Bernie and Wanda around to solve their problems, chaos quickly takes over the house. Jordan tries to establish himself as the man of the house, Vanessa takes charge of the household rules, and Bryana enjoys her newfound freedom. As bills pile up, chores go undone, and disagreements erupt, the siblings learn that keeping a family together is harder than they imagined. By the end of the day, they make a promise to support one another and face their new lives as a team.

After the chaos of their first week alone, Vanessa decides the household needs structure and creates a long list of new rules. While Jordan feels the rules are too strict, Bryana looks for creative ways to get around them. What starts as a plan to keep the house organized quickly turns into a battle over freedom and responsibility. When everyone begins breaking the rules they helped create, the siblings learn that trust is more important than control.

The Thomkins siblings receive their first stack of household bills and quickly realize that keeping the lights on is more complicated than they thought. Jordan attempts to create a budget, Vanessa searches for ways to cut expenses, and Bryana accidentally turns the situation into a neighborhood-wide panic. When a cold snap hits the city and the family fears their heat may be shut off, the siblings must work together to solve their money problems before they're left out in the cold.

Panic spreads through the Thomkins household when Vanessa discovers that the rent check she mailed is missing. Fearing they could lose their home, the siblings launch a frantic search to track down what happened. Jordan believes someone stole it, Bryana thinks it was delivered to the wrong address, and Vanessa blames herself for the mistake. As their theories become more outrageous, the siblings find themselves in one hilarious situation after another. In the end, they learn the importance of communication and staying calm under pressure when the mystery is finally solved.

With things finally settling down at home, Jordan, Vanessa, and Bryana return to school for the first time since taking on their new responsibilities. Determined not to let their personal challenges affect their education, each sibling sets out to make a fresh start. Jordan struggles to balance schoolwork with his duties at home, Vanessa feels pressure to maintain perfect grades, and Bryana becomes the center of attention after classmates hear rumors about her family situation. As the day unfolds, the siblings learn that asking for help is not a sign of weakness and that they don't have to face every challenge alone.

Vanessa gets the opportunity of a lifetime when she's selected to compete for a prestigious student leadership scholarship. Eager to prove she can handle both her family's responsibilities and her personal ambitions, she throws herself into preparation. Meanwhile, Jordan worries that Vanessa is taking on too much, and Bryana feels left out as all the attention shifts toward her big sister. As the competition approaches, Vanessa begins to question whether success is worth sacrificing time with her family. In the end, she learns that true leadership means knowing when to ask for help.

Feeling the pressure of helping support the household, Jordan decides it's time to find a part-time job. Confident that getting hired will be easy, he quickly discovers that balancing work, school, and family responsibilities is harder than he imagined. After a series of awkward interviews and embarrassing misunderstandings, Jordan lands an opportunity at a local grocery store. Meanwhile, Vanessa worries that Jordan is taking on too much, while Bryana becomes determined to spend his first paycheck before he even earns it. When Jordan's new schedule starts affecting his grades and family commitments, he must decide what truly matters most.

Bryana starts acting unusually secretive, causing Jordan and Vanessa to become suspicious. When they notice her sneaking out after school, hiding phone calls, and keeping a mysterious notebook, the siblings become convinced she's hiding something serious. Jordan launches an investigation, while Vanessa tries to get the truth out of her directly. As the rumors and misunderstandings grow, Bryana struggles to keep her secret under wraps. The truth is finally revealed when she unveils a heartfelt surprise she has been working on for the family, reminding everyone that trust is just as important as honesty.

After weeks of dealing with school, work, bills, and responsibilities, Vanessa suggests a family game night to help everyone relax and reconnect. What starts as a fun evening quickly turns competitive when Jordan becomes determined to win every game and Bryana accuses everyone of making up rules. As tempers flare and accusations of cheating fly, the siblings find themselves turning a simple game night into a full-blown household rivalry. However, when a power outage interrupts the competition, they are reminded that spending time together is more important than keeping score.

When Bryana loses a treasured family keepsake, the Thomkins siblings turn the entire neighborhood upside down searching for it. Vanessa believes the missing item is a symbol of the family's connection to the past, while Jordan suspects it may have been accidentally donated during a recent house cleanup. As the search expands, old memories resurface and the siblings begin reflecting on how much their lives have changed. The hunt leads them through schools, community centers, and even a neighborhood yard sale before they finally uncover the truth behind the disappearance.
