Schiphol Airport

While military police officers Jeffrey and Alex are busy apprehending a shoplifter, floor manager Josée is looking for the owner of an unattended laptop. In a busy shopping center, where hundreds of people pass through daily, it is not unusual for valuable items to be briefly lost sight of. Josée, responsible for order and safety on the shop floor, keeps a close watch to ensure that property is not left unattended. The incident highlights the importance of alertness and swift action to prevent both theft and loss. While the military police officers follow their procedure to handle the suspect, Josée ensures that the laptop is secured until the rightful owner comes forward. In this way, safety and property protection are being addressed on two fronts.

Customs officers Jan and Richard are this time faced with the challenging task of carefully inspecting a suitcase full of unknown meat, where accuracy and expertise are crucial. At the same time, Josée takes responsibility for protecting and guiding her passengers during an Extinction Rebellion demonstration, keeping an eye on both safety and maintaining order. Both situations call for decisive action and a professional approach to ensure order and safety.

At the military police, Jeffrey and Alex have their hands full this time with a drunk passenger causing a disturbance during a toilet visit. While they try to get the situation under control, the boarding of the flight to Gran Canaria for passenger agents Isabel and Ronald goes anything but smoothly. Delays arise due to ambiguities in the boarding procedure, increasing the pressure on the team and making the tension in the departure hall palpable. The combination of both events makes for a challenging start to the day's travel.

Passenger service representatives Claire and Yusuf engage in a challenging conversation with travelers struggling with the permitted size of their hand luggage. Meanwhile, customs officers Jan and Richard make a remarkable discovery: they find a goat skull in the suitcases of two passengers. This situation illustrates the diverse and sometimes unexpected situations that airport staff face daily, ranging from discussions about luggage dimensions to discovering unusual objects during security checks. It demonstrates the versatility and alertness required to both enforce the rules and ensure the safety of all travelers.

At the airport, Hans and Nick from the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee intervene when a drunk passenger causes significant disturbance on board. With determination and professionalism, they escort the man off the plane to restore calm and safety for the remaining passengers. Meanwhile, Josée springs into action in the lounge, where she quickly comes to the aid of a man who suddenly becomes unwell. Thanks to her alert response, the man receives the necessary care immediately, preventing a more serious outcome. These events demonstrate the wide range of tasks and responsibilities that airport staff face on a daily basis.

During a routine check at the airport, customs officers Jan and Richard stumble upon a remarkable find: a significant quantity of meat containing live maggots is discovered in a passenger's luggage. This discovery may indicate a serious violation of import regulations and poses a potential risk to public health. While this case is being investigated further, colleague Josée is elsewhere in the terminal tracking down a suitcase emitting a pungent and suspicious odor, which could indicate the presence of prohibited or perishable goods. Both situations underscore the importance of vigilance and careful inspections by customs to safeguard the safety and health of the country.

Jeffrey and Alex of the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee receive an urgent call following a bomb threat at the airport check-in counter. While they prepare for the operation, floor manager Daan assists a woman who becomes unwell during passport control. Thanks to the rapid coordination and professional approach of all involved, the situation at both locations is handled adequately and safely.

Isabel and Ronald regularly assist passengers traveling with their pets, ensuring a smooth and comfortable boarding process. Meanwhile, Jeffrey and Alex from the Military Police are tasked with tracking down a perfume thief who manages to evade them every time, making the investigation extra challenging.
