Along their way to catch the suspect, TUNG has an asthma attack. Basing on the clothing of the sexual offender, TUNG has arrested four suspects. His supervisor SZE KO-BUT suggests conducting a crime scene investigation, through which TUNG discovers that the victim is not WAI but somebody else. He has then devised a plan to make the sexual offender turn himself in. WAI’s supervisor SIMON LEUNG invites her to his home after work so that they can have better preparation for the meeting with a significant client on the following day. This has puzzled WAI beyond measure. WAI goes to buy some beauty products at a cosmetic shop, where she and other customers are suspected of stealing an item. Coincidentally, TUNG is sent to investigate the case.… ...
Though all witnesses and evidence available have put WAI in a very unfavorable situation, TUNG believes she is innocent and so returns to the site for further investigation. To his surprise, the area, once sealed off, is opened again and the whole place has been tidied up. TUNG has no choice but to purchase all the rubbish collected from SIMON’s home. TUNG brings WAI to his home, and starts to carry out an investigation into her three female clients referred by SIMON. Although TUNG manages to make the ladies reveal their secret relationships with SIMON, WAI who is considered to have a clear motive for the murder is still the most suspicious. This has surprised TUNG greatly.… ...
