Einstein and Hawking: Unlocking the Universe
Two brilliant physicists of our day, Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking have each defined humanity's understanding of the universe but their beliefs on how it works do not always align. Through the use of CGI and voice synthesizing technology we bring the two geniuses back to life and together for the very first time.
Episodes
The first episode shows how Albert Einstein revolutionized our understanding of the universe with his theory of relativity. It explains that he initially believed in a static universe and introduced the cosmological constant to support that idea. The story then follows how Edwin Hubble provided observational evidence that the universe is actually expanding. This discovery led to the birth of the Big Bang theory and the foundations of modern cosmology. Overall, the episode illustrates the shift from a fixed universe to one that is dynamic and constantly evolving.
The second episode focuses on Stephen Hawking, who built upon Einstein’s ideas. It explores the nature of black holes and how they connect gravity with quantum physics. The episode reveals Hawking’s insight that black holes are not completely “black” but can emit radiation. It also discusses the ongoing effort to unify the different theories of physics into a single “theory of everything.” In essence, it shows how Hawking extended Einstein’s work to achieve a deeper understanding of the universe.
